Dear Students, Parents/Guardians,

I would like to personally welcome you and your child to my second grade classroom. First, I will tell you a little bit about myself.  My name is Jamie Witek. I grew up here in the PT school district. I live with my husband, my Aussie mix, Gracie Blue, my one-year old Lab puppy, Kentucky Belle, and my sassy tortoise shell kitty, Coon. We lost our 14 year old lab, precious Dixie Belle last summer.  Working with children and teaching has been a huge part of my life. I earned my degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. This will be my 12th year hired and 11th year teaching second grade. Trafford Elementary is a great school and I am looking forward to working with you and your children. I predict it will be a great year!  I welcome any suggestions that will help to make the transition into second grade as easy as possible. Easiest way to contact me at school is to email me at [email protected].  I will get back to you as soon as possible.
