This is my 21st year teaching and eleventh year teaching 2nd grade! I taught 1st grade for ten years before moving to 2nd grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education and my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Duquesne University.

My husband and I have a 14-year-son who is in 9th grade and an 11-year-old daughter who is in 6th grade this year. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, being outside, and reading. I look forward to having a successful year in 2nd grade!

~ Zipper Pencil Bag (one that you can see into on at least one side would be a good idea) with:

-24 count Crayola crayons

-one of the BIG glue sticks (rest will be stored in

locker to grab throughout the year)

-3 of the sharpened pencils (rest will be stored in

locker to grab throughout the year)

-Fiskars ROUND tip scissors

-1 of the EXPO markers (rest will be stored in locker

to grab throughout the year)

- 1 of the highlighters (other will be stored in locker to

grab throughout the year)

~Your school-issued Chromebook fully charged

*It is a good idea to send in a bag with a change of clothes to keep in locker.
