Second-grade students at Trafford Elementary School recently completed book reports with a creative twist. Under the guidance of teachers Mrs. Weismann and Mrs. Witek, students selected a book and wrote a report focusing on one of its characters.
To bring their reports to life, the children decorated pumpkins to resemble their chosen characters. The project concluded with students presenting their “pumpkin book reports” to their classmates, combining reading, art, and public speaking in a fun and festive way.
