Trafford Elementary Students Showcase Creativity in Craft Club

Students at Trafford Elementary School embraced their creative side during March and April Craft Club meetings. The before-school gatherings, led by Student Learning Assistant Miss Marissa Auel, welcomed students in grades 3-5 for hands-on crafting sessions.

In March, the theme was “All About Me.” Participants began by sketching symmetry self-portraits, and then brought their names to life by illustrating each letter with their favorite objects.

April’s Craft Club featured some spring-themed projects, including pipe cleaner flowers, tissue paper dyed flowers, and decorating felt shapes with paint and glitter glue.

I enjoyed leading the grades 3-5 Craft Club at Trafford Elementary, and I hope it is an activity that continues for years to come,” shared Miss Auel. “The kids enjoyed having the creative freedom to make some neat masterpieces!
