Students Explore STEAM Concepts With Marbles

Students at Trafford Elementary participated in a hands-on activity during a recent K-2 STEAM Club led by Miss Auel.

Groups designed marble runs using only tape, paper towel tubes, and poster paper. Students used problem-solving skills while exploring the concepts of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. After the students worked in teams to build their structure, they were able to test it to see if the marble could race through the track without any roadblocks. The students enjoyed watching their own creations work.
