January’s meeting of the “Craft Club” at Trafford Elementary School (Penn-Trafford School District) featured homemade Valentines and Northern Lights chalk art.
Student Learning Assistant, Miss Marissa Auel, spearheaded the before-school meeting for students in grades 3-5. “During craft club, I provide the structural foundation of each craft while giving the students creative freedom to add their very own personal touch,” commented Miss Auel. “The Northern Lights craft is one of my favorite art activities because the students dig deep into their imagination to add details within the scene.”
