Trafford Elementary Enjoys “Snowflake Spectacular”

On the evening of Monday, December 10th, Trafford Elementary School hosted an event called “Snowflake Spectacular” to celebrate the season. Second-grade teacher Mrs. Jamie Witek took the lead in the planning, along with the PTO,  teaching, and support staff members. Donations from Parkside Perks, Dosa Cupcakes, Sarah Wade and Z and Z Rentals, Keystone Pressure Washing, DJ DNA, and MBSlilbitofeverything T-shirt Bar helped to make this event possible.

There were games, food, letters to Santa, face painting, and hair tinsel by high school volunteers. The event's highlight was Santa's arrival, escorted in a fire truck by members of the Trafford Fire Department! Many volunteers—including staff members, former and current students, and community members—made the event successful and raised over $2,000 for Make-A-Wish.
