Dr. Seuss Continues to Inspire Students

At Trafford Elementary School, the first-grade classes celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday (March 2) with a multitude of Seuss-themed activities.

After reading The Foot Book, the students measured their feet as well as objects they found in the classroom.  They enjoyed fishing for rhyming words found in One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.  They created their very own hats in Cat in the Hat fashion.  After reading many of Seuss’s classic books, the classrooms created a picture graph showing a tally of the students’ favorite Dr. Seuss book.
