On Friday, October 20th, the second-grade students of Trafford Elementary School took a field trip to Pleasant Lane Dairy Farm in Latrobe, PA.
Highlights of the trip were meeting and naming three calves, tasting cheese made fresh at the farm, seeing a milking robot in action, and eating lunch with full-grown cows in the barn. Teacher Mrs. Witek secured a grant from the Adopt-a-Cow program to make the trip possible.
