The Rotary Club of Delmont-Salem is committed to serving the local community, and one of its’ annual projects is to promote literacy by donating dictionaries and thesauri to local school districts. As part of this project, Rotarians Robert Brooks and Burke O'Toole delivered 317 dictionaries and 309 thesauri to the Penn-Trafford School District in mid-October. The dictionaries were distributed to the districts’ 3rd graders, while the 5th graders each received a thesaurus.
