Two fifth-grade students at Trafford Elementary School were selected by their teacher, Ms. Zombek, to play ‘Teacher of the Day’ for a day in mid-May.
Zombek selected the students, Zoe Bell and Drea Pecora, as part of a reward for their hard work throughout the school year.
“They did a fantastic job!” said Zombek. “They planned a science lesson about chemical reactions and taught it outside. I was very proud of them!”
Bell and Pecora experienced many of the duties of a teacher, including taking attendance, planning and teaching a lesson, and escorting students to and from classes and lunch.
