Students Experience Cookies and Canvases

During their weekly library classes, students in grades 3-5 at Trafford Elementary School participate in the ‘Accelerated Reader’ program which encourages them to read books and then take a quiz to accumulate points.

Mrs. Winter, the school’s library aide, held a ‘Cookies and Canvases’ event in March to reward the students who met their reading goals.  She was assisted by Art teacher Mrs. Christoforetti and 11th-grader Bella Steimer, who guided the students through a painting activity.  The fun afternoon also included refreshments.
