As a fun project, the first-graders at Trafford Elementary School made a time capsule on 2-2-22 to be opened on 3-3-33 when they are high school seniors.
Each student was given a packet to complete. The packets included a worksheet documenting their current age, along with their ‘favorites’ - color, animal, TV show, and book. There was also a fact sheet about 2022 including average prices of gas, milk, etc., a prediction sheet on which the students noted what they want to be when they grow up, and a note from their 1st-grade teachers to read when they open it as seniors.
