Mrs. Weismann's 2nd-grade class at Trafford Elementary School completed a book report and then turned a pumpkin into one of the book's characters.
Students selected a book and read it at home. With the help of their parents, the students then transformed a pumpkin into a book character. The students brought in their pumpkin characters to share with the class. Many new books were discovered, and everyone enjoyed the fun project.
