Mrs. Christoforetti’s art students at Level Green, Harrison Park, and Trafford Elementary Schools participated in the “What Lifts You” campaign during September.
The campaign, which originated in Nashville, TN with street artist Kelsey Montague, encourages participants to focus on how their differences make them beautiful. Each student decorated a paper feather, and then Mrs. Christoforetti compiled all those unique feathers into a mural to form beautiful bird wings.
The “What Lifts You” murals adorn the walls at each school, and they have become favorite spots for photo backgrounds.
