Christine Morain, Point of Care Coordinator in Lab Administration at UPMC East, spearheaded a donation drive to help out all 1st through 5th-grade students at Trafford Elementary School (Penn-Trafford School District). Her team at the hospital donated 200 art boxes to the school.
Each student at Trafford Elementary will receive assorted art supplies such as a pencil, eraser, glue stick, scissors, a pack of crayons, and a pack of markers. Students will receive the boxes soon - classes at Penn-Trafford schools begin on August 26.
